I prefer seedless

Welcome to the first post of this here blog. Since I quite nicely summed up what this blog is all about in my about page, I figured I’d post a little duplicate content and copy/paste it here.

So what is this blog really all about? Based on the header graphic, you would assume psychology, marketing and watermelons – and you’d be right. My name is Oleg Korneitchouk and this blog is a collection of my thoughts on all of the things that catch my interest, mainly psychology and marketing.

So you might be asking yourself, “Why watermelons? That seems random.” Lo and behold, you’ve uncovered the meaning – other random items that are of interest.

Next point, why am I making this blog? If there is one thing I can’t seem to get the hang of, it’s writing. Throughout high school and my one year of college (Rutgers damn right), I’ve never gotten an A on a writing piece. How better to improve than to practice? So to all those readers out there, feel free to criticize (not bash) on my writing technique.

About me… just (May 2009) finished freshman year at Rutgers University with a planned double major in marketing and psychology. I’m involved in school mainly through my fraternity, Phi Sigma Kappa -Damn Proud- and meaning to join a few business/marketing organizations.  In regards to web work, I’ve been making websites for a long time (online since ‘99 ‘03) and figured I’d give actual blogging a shot. I’m an SEO pro, a PHP MVP, a CSS success, and I know how to rhyme.

Aside from the above, I love hockey, music, more music, comedy, guitar and learning new things. I’m huge on personal development and doing anything I can to make myself a better person. Learning new skills, altering personality traits, obtaining useful knowledge and just making life more easy and fun.

And now you know

Done. Now I’ll just jump into posts.
