This book is a classic, and this review does it no scant amount of justice. I still remember the effect I had on me when I first read it, as I think most will. I especially like the way it is geared towards psychological self-defense and using the power of persuasion for good.

This is definitely a starting point for persuasion tactics.

Also check out his most recent book, Yes!: 50 Scientifically Proven Ways to Be Persuasive.

Its in the "Study --> Explanation --> Use" format for 50 chapters. Some examples repeat from Influence but is still a great read nonetheless.
